I bought the soundtrack to Hero before the movie came out here in America for two reasons. One, I love Zhang Yimou movies and he's always had great soundtracks and two, I love Tan Dun's compositions. Any other Zhang Yimou Fans out there?

Visually his movies are a feast but prefer more conventional martial arts stories that are common in HK cinema. Yimou's tend to bore me.
